Information Collection and Use
Information Collection
Alyon Technologies Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on www.alyon.net. Alyon Technologies Inc. collects information from our users at several different points on our Web site.
Merchant Signup
In order to use Affirme's services, a merchant must first complete the sign-up form. During sign up a merchant is required to give contact information (such as name and email address). We use the information you submit to contact you about services on our site.
When a merchant signs up for the Affirme service we will send them a welcoming email to verify password and username. On occasions it is necessary to send out strictly service related announcement such as to discuss the support and renewal of our products and services or if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send merchants an email. Merchants may also receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.
To update personally identifiable information (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a merchant no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate your personally identifiable information. This can usually be done by emailing our Customer Support at info@alyon.net. Or, contact us by telephone at the contact information listed at the end of this privacy statement.
Consumer
If a consumer uses the Affirme payment service to complete their transaction, we may provide their personal information to the appropriate financial institutions such as major credit bureaus for providing payment services (for example, credit authorization). Additionally, the merchant from whom the consumer is making the purchase is given a copy of the information they have given us offline. We share name and other contact information that is necessary for the merchant to fulfill their service. The merchant's use of consumer's personal information should be governed by their agreement with the merchant and by the merchant's privacy policy.
Affirme will use the consumer's personal information for the completion of their order and to contact them in the event of any trouble processing their order. Consumers will receive emails communications strictly related to the transaction of their order. Consumer will not receive marketing communications from Affirme nor will their personal information be sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
To view personal information collected during call records consumers must log onto the consumers log-in page and providing their billing phone number, email address, account number, password and invoice number. To update your personal information email our Customer Support at info@alyon.net or contact us by telephone at the contact information listed at the end of this privacy statement.
Information Use
We store information that we collect through cookies and log files.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies but do not use persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time.
Some of our business partners use cookies on our site (for example, advertisers). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies, once we have given permission for them to set cookies for advertising.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Business Transitions
In the event Alyon Technologies Inc. goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users' personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Tell-A-Friend
If a user elects to use our referral service for referring a website we ask them to provide their name, email address, website list and comments. Alyon Technologies Inc. will automatically contact the website one-time email inviting them to visit our site. Alyon Technologies Inc. stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program. The website may contact Alyon Technologies Inc. at info@alyon.net to request the removal of this information from our database.
Security
All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our users' information is protected. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment, behind a locked cage in a secure facility that is guarded twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week.
